Tiny needle-felted critters, custom pet portraits and seriously fun classes where you learn to turn a cloud of wool into a new best friend.
A felting needle has tiny barbs along its tip. Every poke drags wool fibers down and tangles them together. Do it a few thousand times and a fluffy cloud of wool firms up into a solid sculpture. No glue, no sewing, no loom.
Start with loose wool roving: a firm core wool for the shape, and soft colored merino for the outside.
Stab the wool into a foam pad with a barbed needle. Coarse needles shape fast; fine ones smooth the surface and add detail.
Balls and logs become heads, bodies and legs. Add eyes, a blush of color, and a new friend appears.
Every piece is sculpted by hand from real wool, so no two are ever exactly alike.
Send a few photos and I'll sculpt a one-of-a-kind wool replica of your best buddy, down to the floppy ear and the questionable whisker. Great as gifts and memorials, or just because.
Total beginner? Perfect. Every class includes all the wool, needles and pads you need, and you'll go home with a finished piece (and probably a new obsession).

Nope! Classes are designed for total beginners. If you can poke something, you can needle felt.
Maybe once. The needles are sharp, so we go over safe technique first and provide finger guards. Most people get the hang of it within minutes.
Just yourself! All wool, needles, foam pads and finger guards are included. Wear clothes you don't mind getting a little fluffy.
Typically a few weeks depending on size and the queue. You'll get progress photos along the way. (Exact turnaround TBD.)
They're decorative art pieces, not toys. Small parts and glass eyes aren't safe for little kids or pets to chew on.
Keep it out of direct sun to prevent fading. Dust gently with a soft brush or a lint roller. Never put it in the washing machine!
